What Happened To Germany After World War Two
After WWII Germany was split into four parts. The Soviet Union, United States, Great Britain, and France all had a part of Germany. The 'City Of Berlin' was in the middle of the Soviet territory, but since all the countries wanted it, the city itself was split into four parts. Giving each country a part of the land. This later caused the Berlin Airlift, when Soviet Union had the blockade, stopping all the resources coming to the city. This happened because the city was basically land-locked in the middle of the SOVIET territory and this gave the soviets a profit over the other countries. But then they used planes to transport the goods to Berlin. So the Soviets had to finish the blockade. We also have a video on this on our 'Video' tab.
